Anti-Embolism Stocking, Below Knee, Closed Toe The elastomer system in Anti-Embolism Stockings is designed to increase blood velocity, reducing the incidence of venous stasis, deep vein thrombosis, and pulmonary embolisms. The stockings accomplish this by providing graduated compression with the most compression at the ankle and gradually diminishing pressure up the leg.

Using a tape measure, measure ankle at narrowest point and calf at widest point. Measure length from bottom of heel to bend at the back of the knee.
